An update, a request and a giveaway

I do not know what is going on with this blog tonight, but the pictures are very big (if you click on them you should be able to see the whole picture though) and I haven't been receiving notices that I have comments, and I haven't checked them either!! ARGHHH!!!!! I will be around to check out all your blogs soon!!


Just popping in to say that I am still here and I haven't been swept away into the ocean!

First of all, and very important and dear to my heart, is a prayer request for a very special person in my life Christine Currently, Christine is on strict hospital bedrest, as she is 27 weeks pregnant and while her baby is healthy and happy safe in her tummy, he or she is needing to stay there for as long as possible. Christine's body, however is saying,"We're ready to roll right now!"

This is her first baby, a much anticipated addition to her family, and this is certainly not the way she has figured things would go. Her dh, John, is back home holding down the fort, keeping the farm going, and is a 6 hour drive away. Christine is keeping her chin up and trying to be strong, but sometimes, it is hard to be positive when you are told all the things that could be wrong with your child, and could happen to your child, and then your dh is so far away. I am sure he is worried and missing her terribly too. Truthfully, she can deliver any day now, please join me in praying that her baby stays put for as long as possible, and for Christine's spirits to be positive despite the bedrest and being so far away from her dh!! Love you Christine, and it was great talking with you today!!
